The Indie Go-Go campaign is now over. It ended on Jan. 11th, 2012. We did not reach our goal, but we did raise $1,070. That money has been used mainly to pay for a listing on Withoutabox. Withoutabox is the popular way for filmmakers to discover new film festivals and for festivals to list their information.
Crowd-funding is a way for people either in the film business or no association at all to be a part of something. People can choose a project on Indie Go-Go that they believe in and want to see take place. You can pledge a small amount or a larger amount towards the project. Every little bit helps the project get closer to their funding goal. You can also help simply by sharing the Indie Go-Go links with your friends and family.
