Social Media Film Festival is a two-day event.
Saturday, September 8th is our main day with films and film panels taking place at The Mirage Hotel & Casino.

BERMUDA A and B SCREENING ROOMS
The screening rooms where the films and panels will take place are in Berumda A and B meeting rooms. These rooms are at the start of the convention center area. Bermuda A and B are directly across from The Roasted Bean coffee shop and just past the Kardashian store. Blizz Yogurt is nearby as well. There will be a table in front of Bermuda A and B for will call. We will have printed tickets. If you purchased a festival pass you can pick those up there as well. *Don’t be confused by the other ticket line for the neighboring Terry Fator Theater.
ST. KITTS – FESTIVAL LOUNGE
The third room associated with our film festival is St. Kitts. It will be an area where filmmakers can display their promotional items; posters, flyers, etc. and sponsors can display theirs as well. This room is just past The Roasted Bean and across from the Terry Fator Theater.
RESTROOMS and BUSINESS CENTER
There are restrooms and a Business Center for using the internet (for a price). Both are very close by.

Sunday, September 9th there is a Directing Workshop that will take place at the Indie Film Factory @ 3PM

Indie Film Factory is not far from The Mirage. It’s in the center of the Harsch Complex. The intersection is Desert Inn Rd. and Valley View Blvd.
PARTIES!
There are 3 parties taking place over the festival weekend.
Opening Night Screening & Party – Friday Night Sept. 7th We’ll be having a FREE screening of “Twittamentary” at the Usr/Lib @ 7pm. “Twittamentary” is a 64 minute feature documentary film about Twitter. Filmmaker Tan Siok Siok took went on a road trip from New York to Los Angeles and crowd-sourced stories and videos from her experiences on the road. “Twittamentary” will be accompanied by TweetBeam Twitter wall. You are actually encouraged to ‘tweet’ during the film.
The Usr/Lib is a technology library donated by Zappos.
The Usr/Lib is at 520 E. Fremont Street., SECOND FLOOR, Las Vegas, NV 89101. It’s in the Emergency Arts Building at Fremont & 6th Street. DOWNTOWN
The After-Party – Saturday Sept. 8th after the main day of films and panels at The Mirage will take place nearby at The Bikini Bar.
We will leave The Mirage and head down the street to The Bikini Bar. A bunch of light punk bands are playing including the all-girls band, The Dirty Panties. Roughly 9:30pm.

Closing Night Party – Sunday, Sept. 9th
As the birth of Social Media Film Festival took place with a launch party at The Royal House, we will come full circle by having our Closing Party here.
We will be screening one last film early in the evening, “CraigslistJoe” at 6:30PM. It’s FREE! More on that coming soon! “CraisglistJoe” is about a 29-year-old guy backpacking and using Craigslist and the kindness of strangers to get around America and surviving it for 30 days.
From 9pm-11pm Lucky Cuss will will electrify you with their guitar-rock infused electronica.
The Royal House is a lounge inside The Royal Resort. The Royal Resort is around the corner from Encore Hotel.
